As I stand out here in the rain, and let it was away the pain, I have to wonder…would it have been different if Alice hadn’t seen you that day? Would I have a chance? Or would you eventually try to find him anyway? The rain falls, soaking me from head to toe. I don’t care, it fits my mood. My biggest regret is not being there on time that day. Maybe you’d be running into my arms instead of his. Nothing I can do now, so I’ll just stand here in the rain…and let it wash away the pain.
