From the look of us, people would think we hated each other. We were always at the other’s throats, disagreeing on almost everything we talked about. But if one were to look hard enough, they would look past the hate and rather than pass us by as a quarreling couple, see the passion that each of us have for each other.
“Damn Yankee!” he would shout. When we met, it was meant to be an insult, but now he says it just to tease me, so I just retort back with my usual “Orange Top!”
They shake their heads, but if they had given a second glance, they would have seen us laugh and share a soft, tender kiss.
