I gave him so many chances to confess, so many chances to redeem himself for the sick bastard he is. I knew all along it was him, even if I didn’t want to believe it. I wanted him to confess, wanted him to beg forgiveness, but he didn’t. And then he gave me that last clue that put all the pieces together and I knew I could not lie for him anymore. I caught him in his lie, and he still denied it until he was near death. One look into his cold eyes and I knew….justice had been served.
