When I’m with her I can let down all the walls that consume me. I allow myself to be free, to have fun. With her, I feel as though I can do anything. Sure, it sounds cheesy, especially coming from a man, but I mean every word.

She is the air I breathe and the sun that shines over me. Her goofy smile and carefree laugh make me just want to scoop her up and kiss her. All is right in the world as long as she is happy.
With her I become undone. I shed the insecurities and am just Yuki. Not the rat, not the prince, just Yuki. And as long as she is in my life, I couldn’t be happier. I will do everything in my power to make her happy.

I know she loves me too, but I also know she loves that damn cat. But even if she ends up with him, as long as she is happy I shall not protest. However, I will always be waiting for the day he screws up, watching his every move and making sure she is treated like the princess she is.
She may never physically be mine, but she will always be mine in my heart and in my dreams.
