Sometimes in life, you have to let someone else be right for a change, even if you know they are wrong. Miroku learned this quickly with his wife.
“Miroku, I told you we would have a girl!” his wife said smiling at the newest addition to the family.
“Actually, you had said it was to be a boy”
“I said no such thing! That was you, hoping for another son!”
“Actually dear….” he dared not finish the sentence once he caught his wife’s glance, which seemed to say ‘I dare you to argue.’
“Yes, my love, she is beautiful isn’t she?” he responded instead.
“Indeed she is” the former demon slayer responded smirking in victory.
