I wish I could dream. If I could, I’d always have sweet intoxicating dreams of you. If I could close my eyes, I’d imagine all sorts of scenarios involving me and you living the happily ever after we both want. I’d dream of your eyes, your skin, your voice…I’d dream all things you. I lay down a moment, knowing very well I can’t fall asleep, trying to picture these things in my mind. I lay here concentrating, willing my eyes shut, yet they disobey and remain open. It’s a shame, but the reality of you is so much better anyway.
