When I told Sesshomaru the news, he wasn’t surprised in the least.
“I smelt the change in your scent, and you were feistier than usual”
I smacked him playfully in the arm. After my third month, he became very attentive and didn’t let me do much for myself. It was nice, but a lot of the times, a pain in the neck. A few times, I wanted to lay down with him and have sex, but he would refuse. I would eventually get my way, but it was always very difficult to convince him.
I had my share of mood swings alright. I would get upset over small things like the bed sheets being put the right way, or would stomp out of dinner because it wasn’t the right temperature. If divorce was a thing of this time, I’m sure he considered it a few times. I was not exactly the most pleasant person to be around at times.
Once the baby was born though, all my moodiness and bitchiness left, and all I could do was smile at the bundle of joy in my arms. It was a boy and we named him Hikaru. He meant the world to me. Kohaku and Inuyasha were both very proud uncles, often trying to take him away from us and spend time. A few times we would allow them to so Sesshomaru and I got our alone time, but the rest of the time, we wanted our time to play with him.
Two years passed before I became pregnant with our second child, and Kagome returned. Her and Inuyasha were married almost immediately. I was so happy to have my best friend back at my side. I now had everyone I loved around me and I knew everything was as it should be.
