Sango had set her friend up on yet another blind date. He had been out with countless women, but the end result of all those dates were never pleasant. Woman would usually end up throwing foreign objects at him or cursing him using every bad word under the sun. Sango had enough, and prayed that this one would go better.
Inuyasha arrived at the café, and waited for the arrival of his date. He know his date’s name was Miroku, but nothing else. He thought the name was odd, but went with it anyway.
Just when he got tired of waiting, and thought the stupid girl would never show, a young man dressed in blue approached him.
“Hello, how would you like to….”
Before he could finish the infamous question, the man realized this was not the date he was expecting.
“Inuyasha?” the boy in blue asked.
“Miroku?” the half-demon replied.
They both simultaneously replied
“You’ve got to be kidding me”
The boys laughed, and then agreed to have lunch anyway.
“Wow. My cousin Kagome set me up on this blind date, and the last thing I expected was to be paired up with another man” said Miroku.
“Tell me about it. My best friend Sango has been sending me on these damn blind dates for weeks, and I gotta tell ya, I never thought I’d be sitting across from a guy in a similar situation” said Inuyasha.
The two laughed, and shared their lunch talking about the girls, and agreed to arrange a meeting.
“Oh, I’m sure those two would get along beautifully, you know considering they thought the people they supposedly cared about were gay” Miroku said.
“Yeah, I suppose you’re right” Inuyasha replied.
“Well, I must be going. I’m sorry to say, but I think we can only be friends” Miroku said with a smirk.
“Yeah, it never would’ve worked out between us” Inuyasha responded, which made Miroku laugh.
“Friends?” asked Miroku, while extending his hand.
“Friends” responded Inuyasha shaking his hand.
The two laughed, and then agreed to meet up with the girls that weekend. Oh, what a talking to, those girls were going to have!
