iyissekiwa's 'next' prompt
Another day, another village with beautiful women. I can’t help myself. Women are such beautiful creatures, and it is hard for me not to let such things be known. As I’ve always said, my hand does have a mind of its own.
I have all these women lined up, thinking I’m merely attempting to read their palm, but what I’m really doing is trying to look down their kimono. Up next in line, I see a woman with a gorgeous body, but with her face covered. I pretend to read her palm and tell her that she will have a long healthy life. She laughs. It was then that I decided to ask the inevitable question
“How would you like to bear my child?”
I certainly was not prepared for her reaction.
“Of course! Oh, all these years, and I have finally found a husband, what happiness! Men have always just seen my body, and not me for who I am. Oh monk, we must have a spring wedding!”
Then she unveiled her face. This woman may have had a nice body, but her face certainly did not match, and as much as I sympathized, I certainly wasn’t ready to get married, much less to her.
“Um, can I get who’s next in line please?”
But sadly, as I looked, there was no one left in line, and just Sango and the others laughing and shaking their heads. It wasn’t going to be easy to get out of this one!
