I knew I made a mistake when I found myself leaving Forks with my family. I feel awful for what transpired that night, and I hate not being able to control my bloodlust. I can’t say I’m fond of the human girl, but I know how important she is to both Edward and Alice, so I tried to get along. And then that night I made an almost fatal mistake. Alice tells me it’s alright, but has been distant. I wish I had Edward’s ability for a moment to know what she thinks. I only hope that this will pass.
